    Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Maintenance Technician that can maintain woodworking equipment on a daily basis. The position supports the operations team by minimizing downtime due to equipment failures, works with operators to troubleshoot wood shop equipment, performs scheduled preventative maintenance on all machine room and assembly equipment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Performs scheduled maintenance on all machine room and assembly equipment, lubrication of bearings, gearboxes, motors, chain and belt driven conveyor systems, grease reservoirs, oil misters, dust collection and auxiliary equipment.
    • Performs minor repairs on all equipment within capabilities; cleans electrical panels from dirt and debris; replaces or repairs equipment when called by production for emergency repairs; replaces plant lighting when necessary; inspects dust collection hoses and duct-work for leaks or damage; repairs or replaces pneumatic valves, vacuum valves and related equipment as needed.
    • Cleans equipment and surrounding area as required, maintains good housekeeping of all plant equipment. Cleans vacuum pump filters and monitors dust collection bin levels,
    • Monitors parts inventory and reorders as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Desired Qualifications

    • 2+ years of machine maintenance experience, preferably in a wood working environment
    • Must have demonstrated mechanical abilities, ability to work with tools, understanding of safety and Lockout/Tag out
    • Ability to maintain accurate record keeping in order to maintain accurate PM and predictive PM records
    • Strong communication skills, both orally and written, to relay equipment downtime and causes
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an efficient manner
    • Solid track record of good attendance and punctuality
    • A positive attitude and a willingness to help the Company where needed

    Assembly

    Job Description

    Performs routine, repetitive assembly of furniture. Must be able to follow written instructions and interpret blueprints to successfully assemble products. Must be proficient with measuring instruments, hand tools and power tools. Attention to detail and a focus on quality are critical. Reports to Production Supervisor.

    Responsibilities

    • Following written instructions to correctly assemble furniture prior to shipment
    • Performing fit and alignment adjustments
    • Ensure that quality standards are followed and that any deviations are reported
    • Performs routine maintenance on equipment as needed
    • Follow all safety guidelines and regulations
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • The ability to stand for a 10 hour shift
    • Ability to use hand/power tools (hammer, drills) to assemble furniture. Experience is a plus, but training is available as long as candidate is willing.
    • Frequent lifting and movement of furniture pieces - generally up to 40lbs, with team lifts for higher amounts
    • Attention to detail and an eye for quality deviations
    • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn each function in the department


    This is a full-time, direct hire position, with full benefits package. Health, dental, and vision insurance available day 1 on hire date. Weekly pay on Fridays.

    Experienced Machine Operator (CNC)

    Job Description

    We have an immediate opening for a Machine Operator. The position would be responsible for operating CNC machine and edge bander operator on our 1st shift. Preferred candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience with CNC equipment within wood panel manufacturing, ideally with CNC routers and edge banders. A positive attitude, solid attendance history, good communication skills, and self-motivation are key requirements.     Building Maintenance

    Job Description

    RT London has an immediate need for an experienced Building Maintenance Mechanic to support our first shift operations. Two to five years of maintenance experience, along with experience in a manufacturing environment, are desired. A focus on safety, and some on-call availability also required.

    Performs a variety of skilled maintenance and mechanical duties to repair and maintain buildings, related facilities, furnishings and equipment. Duties may be in any of the skilled trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and painting. Projects can vary from routine preventative maintenance/repair to major installations/upgrades that may require assistance from outside contractors. Incumbents must be able to work independently or as part of a team on projects. May provide general instruction to less experienced maintenance personnel. Works with the Building Maintenance Manager.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist, as directed, in the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems including: plumbing, HVAC, electrical (limited), steam systems, boiler systems, fire protection systems and alarm/security monitoring systems
    • Constructs and repairs structural building and equipment following blueprints, drawings and verbal instruction
    • Perform regular safety checks throughout the facility to ensure a safe and clean working environment; eliminates hazards as they relate to the building or related projects
    • Responds to all facility alarms, mechanical/electrical/elevator system failures and any incidents during normal working hours and after hours when on call; follow up with necessary incident reports
    • Complies with OSHA guidelines, policies, procedures and standards in accordance with Company policies
    • Must be available for off-hours to investigate onsite incidents or occurrences
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    • 2-5 years of building maintenance experience
    • Flexibility to be on-call as needed
    • Must be available to respond to emergency situations as they arise and work additional hours as necessary
    • Experience operating and maintaining boiler systems

    Production Associate - Upholstery Department

    Job Description

    RT London is currently looking for a Production Associate in our Upholstery Department. The position involves many tasks related to building furniture. The associate works in a manufacturing setting, and will fit, install, and secure fabric and cushion materials on wooden frames, using various tools, glue, and/or staples.

    This is a full-time position with health, dental, and vision insurance available DAY 1. Other benefits like 401K with company match also available.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Reads work orders to determine types and amounts of materials required to cover work pieces.
    • Pad, cover, trim and finish lounge furniture to specifications.
    • Apply padding to provide proper support, texture and to maintain design contours.
    • Assist in various areas of the department – building wooden frames, gluing foam to frames, cutting fabric, and moving materials between workers.
    • Complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Follow all safety and quality standards, including inspecting and reporting any deviations.
    • Cross-train within related positions in production.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Must be able to stand, walk, and lift product for majority of a ten hour shift.
